PRACTICAL INFORMATION
In this section you will find information about:
GENERAL FEATURES
Dear participants,
It will be a pleasure for us to meet you in France.
Please read very carefully the following information in order to facilitate our work and for you to have a
pleasant travel and stay:
1. Please don't forget to bring your identity card or passport.
2. Please bring all your transport tickets with the price ON IT and your boarding pass. We need them as an evidence for your flight. Without them you won’t be reimbursed of your flight ticket!
3. For your health safety bring your European Health Card that is valid for all EU countries.
4. Third liability insurance: Musikado in insured for third liability matters.
You have to manage your own insurance for: loss or steeling of objects & luggage.
5. in France it is strictly forbidden to import, to carry or to consume any kind of drugs (hashish and marihuana included).
7. FEE: Money should not be the only obstacle to participation; therefore we suggest a sliding scale from 30 to 80€. We want to give each participant the possibility to self-evaluate how much s/he can contribute financially and how much s/he consider a fair fee for 6 days residential training course.
8. We provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners & coffee breaks. So, you need only some euros pocket money for your personal
expenses.
9. The currency in France is the EURO.

WHAT TO BRING with YOU?
=> Sports shoes, slippers (worn-out shoes), summer clothes, hat, one light jacket for the evenings, a raincoat (in case of rain) and a swimming suit;
=> We will have an intercultural evening. Please BRING a speciality from your country (food or drinks) with you and music if you wish. Attention: You are not allowed to carry fluids in your hand baggage. You can put it only in the checked baggage.
=> Do not forget to BRING material about your organisation (leaflets, posters, photos, videos, etc)
=> THINK about a method, a tool, a game, etc. related with youth work(youth = 13 to 30 y.o.) that you can teach/present to the other.
SEMINAR VENUE: Centre “La Visitation”
We will work, eat, sleep and relax in the residential centre “La Visitation” in the center of the town of Brioude nearby a park.
Sheets & blankets are provided.
Towels are NOT provided.
Lodging: in 2 – 4 beds rooms with bathroom and toilets.
This is usually a school residential place, not as confortable as an hotel, but very nice place.
There are only small pillows, if you need it bring your onw.
At the same time of the seminar, there migth be in the same building, a summer camp fo ryoung people.
Board: in the centre “La Visitation”, or in the school of Saint-Julien (10’ walking) and sometimes in restaurants of Brioude.
ABOUT SPECIFIC FOOD DIET, we inform you that we won't be able to create specific meals but we will try when possible to provide alternative food. If it is not the case, we will provide more of other dish (ex.: if participant cannot eat meat, s/he will have the possibility to take more salad or rice/potatoe/main vegetable); we count on your understanding and creativity.

TRAVEL arrangements
BUDGET
The ERASMUS+:Youth-in-Action programme covers your transport costs till the maximum following amount:
ESTONIA: 360€ / participant;
GREECE, HUNGARY, IRELAND, ITALY, ROMANIA, SLOVAKIA,SPAIN: 275 €/ participant.
[NB: this is for all the transportation costs = plane+train/bus].
Reimbursment will be made by MUSIKADO the last day of the TC. Taxis are NOT reimbursed.
LOCATION
The training course takes place in Brioude, which is:

480 km south from Paris,
-
200 km West from Lyon,
-
70 km South form Clermont-Ferrand.
AIRPORTs
The biggest airports are PARIS (Roissy/Charles-de-Gaulle or Orly) and LYON
(Saint-Exupéry).
There is also a small airport in Clermont-Ferrand, but with no good connection to town
(mostly taxi).
The Paris-Beauvais airport is situated 80 km North from Paris.
Note:you can arrive France one or 2 days earlier if plane tickets are cheaper, but we cannot pay your extra accomodation and food. Same thing for leaving (1 or 2 days later).
TRANSFER from AIRPORT to Train/BUS STATIONS

1. From Paris Roissy-CHARLES DE GAULLE airport
to Paris Bercy SNCF (train) [about 75' in total]:

a) GO TO Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV – RER station
Access to RER station is:
- from Terminal 2 = direct [3'] ;
- from Terminal 3 = by foot [5’];
- from Terminal 1 = take the shuttle CDGVal (free of charge - every 2 min.) [10']

b) Take the train RER “B” [40'] :
Buy a RER train ticket for Paris & take the RER B:

b) Take the ORLYVAL [12'] [trains every 10 minutes] - FREE of charges,

TRAINS & BUSSES
In General:
- trains goes to Brioude via Clermont-Fd or Le Puy-en-Velay;
- trains are more expensive than busses;
- train tickets are much cheaper bought in advance through internet: www.sncf.com;
- busses have final stop to Clermont-Fd and there are few per day;
- busses are low cost companies that just started (2015);
- bus tickets can be only bought online.
ARRIVAL
NB: plane arrival time on 26/7 in Paris or LYON NOT LATER than 12.00 (midday), for train/bus connections.
ARRIVAL in BRIOUDE on 26/07 should be between 17h00 and 23h00 (not after).

NB: plane departure time on 02/8 from Paris or LYON NOT EARLIER than 17.00, for train/bus connections.
DEPARTURE from Brioude on 02/08 should be before 12:00 (noon). It is NOT possible to leave one day earlier.
